New Years Day is the first page in a blank book: Let us write a phenomenal story! Wish you and your family a joyous new year full of happiness and success. May the coming year and cycle be a mosaic of laughter, success and, memorable moments weaving together the threads of shared experiences and new found aspirations. As we enter a new year and the start of the new cycle filled with possibilities, it gives me great pleasure to reflect on the last cycle, the memorable achievements of PIARC, and the future. A true testament to the steadfast support from our member countries and volunteers who do the hard work. >> Read the full editorial

The Ten Step Project in Tanzania has been awarded the Prince Michael International Road Safety Award
December 12 2023, London (United Kingdom) Ten Step Project in Tanzania received an award, with IRF who has been acting as the lead for the project. The Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards aim at recognising the outstanding contribution of organisations to improving road safety. With reference to the Ten Step Project, the judges mentioned that they were "especially impressed by the comprehensive nature of the plan and the involvement of so many organisations in its delivery. It is without doubt an example which should be replicated in other regions". Winners were invited to the Annual Awards Luncheon Ceremony, where only two representatives from the project delivery team were invited to meet The Prince and talk to him about their achievement.
