  • Definition : Article of transport equipment having an internal volume of 1 m³ (35,3 ft³) or more, fitted with top and bottom corner fittings, with restraint provisions compatible with an aircraft restraint system, and an entirely flush base bottom to allow handling on roll conveyor cargo handling systems. Notes: 1. The container is primarily intended for transport by air and interchange with surface transport modes (road, rail and sea). 2. Containers of these types have type codes 90 to 99 [EN 14943].

  • Theme : Betrieb Transport Multimodaler Transport
  • Definition : Transportmittel mit einem Innenvolumen von 1m³ (35,3 ft³) oder mehr, ausgestattet mit Eckbeschlägen oben und unten, mit Rückhalterungen, vergleichbar mit Rückhalte-Systemen in Flugzeugen, und einem vollständig glatten Boden, um das Be- und Entladen auf Rollenbahn-Umschlagssystemen zu ermöglichen. Anmerkungen: 1. Container ist vorrangig für den Lufttransport und zum Austausch mit Oberflächen-Transportarten (Straße, Bahn und See) vorgesehen. 2. Container dieser Typen haben die Typ-Codes 90 bis 99 [EN 14943].
