  • Definition : Materials handling equipment for storage and retrieval of unit loads in line racks. Note: the loading of unit loads is realized by driving under and lifting through telescopic forks, by pulling them over through pulling equipment or (in connection with racks goods running through) by rolling over to the roller conveyor of the elevating platform. The unit loads vertical movement is realized by lifting and dropping the elevating platform. For the horizontal movement a rack serving unit is guided by rails on the floor and at the top of the rack or at the ceiling [EN 14943].

  • Definition : Fördereinrichtung zur Lagerung und Auslagerung von Einheitsladungen auf bzw. aus Reihenregale(n). Anmerkung: das Aufladen der Einheitsladungen erfolgt, indem Teleskopgabeln unter die Waren gefahren und angehoben werden, durch Ziehen der Waren mit Zugvorrichtungen oder (in Verbindung mit rollbaren Regalen) durch Hinüberrollen der Waren zum Rollenförderer der Hubplattform. Die vertikale Bewegung der Einheitsladungen erfolgt durch Anheben und Absenken der Hubplattform. Für die horizontale Bewegung wird ein Regalbediengerät durch auf dem Boden und an der Decke oder am oberen Ende der Regale verlaufende Schienen geleitet [EN 14943].
