Risks associated with natural disasters, climate change, man-made disasters and security threats
This report presents:

- a set of practical techniques, developed in Japan,for managing risks associated with associated with heavy rainfall and earthquakes;
- initiatives taken around the world for the development of methodological approaches for managing climate change risks and the corresponding adaptation measures of transportation infrastructure;
- the content of a Toolbox, which will be accessible as a website, consisting of a set of inventory sheets presenting policy, techniques and operational (maintenance) technologies/tools for road risk management.
