An online survey is being conducted and a workshop on the future of HDM-4 software will be held in Washington, D.C. (USA)

HDM-4 is a software package which serves as a primary tool for the analysis, planning, management and appraisal of road maintenance, improvements and investment decisions. It is a decision-making tool for checking the engineering and economic viability of the investment in road projects. Over the years, HDM-4 has been instrumental in justifying road building and maintenance grants for many countries – connecting communities to bring both economic and welfare benefits for countless road users. PIARC and other key partners are invested in guaranteeing that the needs of the road infrastructure community are met in a satisfactory and sustainable way and are currently exploring options for the future.

A workshop on the future of the HDM-4 software will take place in Washington, D.C. (USA)

It will take place on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, 14:00-16:00 EDT.

This Workshop will canvas current and future users for feedback on the current HDM-4 software as well as their current and future asset management needs. It will discuss pricing, software distribution, usage scenarios, maintenance packages, etc. The outputs of this event will help assess the future development requirements and business model options needed to sustainably meet the end user and market demands. The market research is conducted by Hodos Media, and is funded by the UK’s DFID.
