Road Tunnels: Vehicle Emissions and Air Demand for Ventilation
In 1990 and 1995 PIARC published the calculation methodology and the emission factors for road tunnel ventilation design. An update of the existing PIARC methodology was necessary, as the emission standards of the vehicles were becoming more stringent and hence the vehicles cleaner. CD-7802 - Pavement Recycling (Guidelines)
This document, realised by the PIARC Technical Committee on Road Pavements (C7/8), is avaible only on CD-ROM. Environment and Construction of Road Projects
One work area of the PIARC Committee on the Environment concerns the consequences of the construction of road projects. In July 1997, an inquiry was sent to all PIARC member countries.
