positive release

  • Language : PIARC Road Dictionary / English
  • Theme : Operations Transport General Items
  • Definition : Process by which products may be shipped to a new location or customer in a quarantine status and held at that location until released. Note: positive release requires lot, pallet or shipment level control of the goods by the supplier’s quality assurance and shipping departments and the customer’s goods-in and stores departments [EN 14943].

  • Theme : Betrieb Transport Allgemeines
  • Definition : Prozess, bei dem Produkte im Quarantänestatus an einen neuen Ort oder zu einem neuen Kunden versendet und dort bis zur Freigabe aufbewahrt werden können. Anmerkung: die positive Freigabe erfordert die Steuerung der Waren auf der Stufe der Lose, Paletten oder Sendungen anhand des Qualitätssicherungssystems des Lieferanten und durch die Versandabteilungen und die für den Wareneingang und die Lagerung verantwortlichen Abteilungen auf Seiten der Kunden [EN 14943].
