Term of the Road Dictionary

handelsvoertuig

  • Theme : Exploitatie Vervoer Voertuigen
  • Definition : Voertuig dat in hoofdzaak voor commercieel vervoer van goederen of personen of het leveren van professionele diensten wordt gebruikt. Toelichtingen: 1. Handelsvoertuigen voeren op de zijkant of op hun portieren meestal het logo of de naam van het bedrijf dat of de organisatie die ze exploiteert. 2. Handelsvoertuigen verschillen sterk naargelang van de betrokken organisatie: van bedrijfsvoertuig tot oplegger, en ook taxi's. Sommige modellen zijn afgeleid van personenauto's (bv. lichte bestelwagens, eenvolumewagens) of zijn voertuigen die niet in eerste instanties voor personenvervoer zijn bedoeld [OQLF/PIARC].
