  • Definition : CROW, Nomenclatuur van weg en verkeer (2001): inspectie die ten doel heeft aard, ernst en omvang van schades aan de verharding of een kunstwerk eenduidig vast te stellen. Men onderscheidt onder meer: - globale visuele inspectie: periodieke visuele inspectie op hoofdonderdelen van schades ten behoeve van de meerjarenonderhoudsbegroting; - klein-onderhoudsinspecie (ook: gerichte inspectie): visuele inspectie voor het vaststellen van klein onderhoud; - maatregeltoets: visuele inspectie voor het definitief vaststellen van onderhoudsmaatregelen; - gedetailleerde visuele inspectie: nauwgezette visuele inspectie van de toestand van de weg, die voor specifieke doeleinden wordt verricht.
