Decision-makers, technical experts, road authorities and managers, operators, equipment manufacturers and engineers, and academics: You are all invited to participate in this exciting Congress, organised by PIARC and Transport Canada, that will take place virtually from February 7 to 11.

A platform has been set up to enable the experience of a virtual congress in a comfortable and accessible way for everyone. The XVI World Winter Service and Road Resilience Congresswill be a unique opportunity to meet and reconnect with a network of contacts in the road and transport sector and enjoy a full programme with a wide variety of sessions, as well as a virtual exhibition where you can interact directly with like-minded peers! It will also be easier and more cost-effective for all countries to take part in the Congress.

• Check the detailed Program here. There is a day-by-day listing of the program, and each session shows the start and end times for the time zones of Calgary, GMT, Paris, New Delhi, Tokyo, and Sydney. If the session time is not convenient for you, you can always watch it later ‘on demand’!
• Design your own agenda! The Congress’ platform opens today! You must be registered for the Congress to access and identify the Technical and Foresight Sessions that interest you the most, the full papers, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Keynote Speakers, and the networking features of the Congress platform.
• Have a look! All the papers that have been selected in response to the International Call for Papers are now available.
• Keynote, networking, technical, foresight, poster and ministerial sessions, technical visits and many panelists, exhibitors and national pavilions will fill a programme with a wide variety of topics.
• Don’t miss our keynote speakers which are sure to be a highlight of the Congress program! On Tuesday, February 8, Max Perchanok will speak about Winter Service, and on Thursday, February 10, Dr. Andrey will speak about Resilience. To know a bit more about them, check their biographies.
• If you haven’t already submitted your video for our Winter Service Showcase, the virtual version of the Snow Plough Championship, you are still on time!
