The PIARC Technical Committee 1.3 “Finance and Procurement” invites you to participate in the survey aiming to gather insights on transparency practices in road projects. Your feedback is crucial in helping us develop recommendations for enhancing transparency in public transportation and road agencies worldwide.

What do we mean by transparency?
For the purposes of this survey, transparency involves:
- Sharing information among stakeholders (anyone impacted by the project) on important matters, both internally and externally.
- Maintaining openness, accountability, and honesty about project spending.
- Maintaining active and effective communication with all stakeholders.
About the Survey
- Estimated Completion Time: Approximately 30 minutes.
- Number of questions: 34.
- Languages available: English, French, and Spanish.
Structure
The questionnaire is divided into two parts:
- Part I focuses on gathering general information about your organization and its activities.
- Part II dives into specific questions related to transparency practices at different stages of road projects (e.g., procurement, implementation, maintenance, and operation).
